Lisa Worden is one of the radio and music community's most respected executives whose work has seen her championing a number for the world's biggest artists across her industry career. currently serves as Alternative Rock Brand Manager, iHeartMedia & Program Director, ALT98.7/Los Angeles. As Alternative Rock Brand Manager, Worden leads iHeartMedia's Alternative Rock Brand Management Team, which connects key advertisers with the company's Alternative Rock music audience and provides strategic guidance to over 25 Alternative Rock music station brands. Prior to joining iHeart, Worden had spent over 12 years as Assistant Program Director and Music Director for the "World Famous KROQ" in Los Angeles. At KROQ, she played a key role in the station's music direction and helped maintain its position as an iconic brand and supporter of both emerging and established artists. Having initially joined KROQ in 1995 as Music Director where she served until 2003, she made her way for a short tenure with another iconic rock station in Washington DC's WHFS before rejoining KROQ in August of 2005. Her early career began in the record label world having started out at SBK Records in 1990, joining the Radio Promotions department as an assistant before transitioning to the college and specialty promotion team. In 1993 she joined RCA Records as the West Coast Director for their Alternative Rock Promotion team. |
