Joey Prather is based in San Francisco, and founded Blue Scout Music in Portland, OR in 2005. In his 9 year run with Blue Scout, he’s produced music for the Levi’s “Go Forth” campaign, Old Spice, EA, Best Buy, Mondavi, Intel, Nike, Nintendo, Humana, among many others. Joey has licensed music to many tv shows such as Shameless, Us & Them, The Mentalist, Cold Case, Unforgettable, Veronica Mars, and The Big Bang Theory to name a few. Prior to forming Blue Scout, Joey worked for a well-known music production company in NYC, and was a concert pianist for 10 years, traveling the world playing opera and chamber music, and playing and producing bands when possible. Joey enjoys indie pop and rock, classic rock and punk, and classical chamber music, especially on vinyl.
