Jens passion for music started at an early age (with a basement, a drum kit and a deep passion for vinyl and listening to music). He got into the business for real when building a studio in 1988 where Jens and his partner recorded, produced and mixed other artists and while that was very good experience he tried to fine-tune his position and started Blue Lemon International (label, promotion, publishing) in 1998 and have since that point worked with many artists in all different genres, bands just starting and acts known to most people.
Driven by his interest in both music and people it all became clear in 2004 that the perfect fit for Jens was management. This was the successful start of Blue Lemon Management.
Blue Lemon Management quickly became one of the go to management companies in Sweden and cared for many of the Swedish household names such as Sahara Hotnights, Blindside,
Marit Bergman as well as international artists like Tony Harnell (TNT), John Macaluso (Ark, Yngwie Malmsteen, James LaBrie). Jens was and is often called in to consult on situations requiring special attention such as bad press, bands breaking up, artists falling apart on a personal level, million dollar deals at stake and other difficult situations.
Today Jens is involved with well known names in the industry such as Glen Gabriel (Award winning film composer) Mikkey Dee (Motörhead, Nordic Beast, Dokken, King Diamond),
Miljenko Matijevic (Steelheart, The voice in Rockstar - the movie, toured with The Doors), Lizette & (multiple award nominees in Swedish Rockbjörnen 2012, 2013, 2014), Defueld (First metal act to ever tour Senegal, Africa), Ruh (Toured with The Ark, The Who), Big Time (UK Classic Rock Magazine stated last year that Big Time will be the next big thing out of Sweden), Kerbera (with a massive world wide fan base after just one year as a band, their own clothing brand, TV appearances etc). 2013 Jens was entrusted to manage Little Great Things (featuring the grandchildren of Benny Andersson of ABBA). LGT performed in front of millions of viewers in Sweden's biggest music event ”Melodifestivalen” and released their debut album through Universal.
Jens is also the mastermind behind the successful 850 capacity Rock Club ”Black Carpet Stockholm” that opened in February 2014 where he on a weekly basis scouts for new talent.
