Chris Taylor is the Global President, Music at Entertainment One. Prior to eOne, Taylor was Canada’s leading music attorney, representing Drake, Nelly Furtado, Avril Lavigne and many others. In 2004, he launched independent music company Last Gang which supported the careers of Metric, Death From Above 1979 and Crystal Castles. He sold Last Gang to eOne in 2016 and now leads a music staff of more than 100 in offices in New York, London, Nashville, Los Angeles, Hamburg, Melbourne and Toronto.

Entertainment One’s music division is one of the largest independent music companies in the world encompassing management, publishing, live and record divisions, working in all genres with artists such as The Lumineers, Wu Tang Clan, Jax Jones and Arkells. The music division garnered 12 Grammy nominations in 2017. Taylor was listed as one of the Top 50 Indie Power Players in 2017. Billboard magazine also listed Taylor as one of the Top 50 Indie Power Players in 2017, as well as most recently ranked Entertainment One’s music division as the No.2 independent music label in the U.S.
